The John Deere fleet are out picking up second cut grass silage for a good customer of ours while the JCB and Krone rake rows the grass up in front, A lighter crop means the 9700i doesn’t take too long to go through the acreage and get it all back to the farm where we catch up with buck rake as Tony pushes away the crop and rolls it in with a 6R250. In the afternoon I head back to check on the drier and Steve and Harry have it hitched up and ready to move so we escort it back to the new site. Plenty of branches snapped, roads widened and a few cuts needed to be made!
