Raising an Army - Gods and Generals
Source - Gods and Generals (2003 Film) Stonewall Jackson was one of the most respected and effective Confederate commanders during the American Civil War. Born Thomas Jonathan Jackson, he earned the nickname “Stonewall” at the First Battle of Bull Run when his brigade was said to have stood “like a stone wall” against Union attacks. Serving under Robert E. Lee, Jackson became famous for his aggressive tactics, rapid troop movements, and victories in campaigns such as the Shenandoah Valley Campaign and the Battles of Second Bull Run and Chancellorsville. Deeply religious and highly disciplined, he was admired by his soldiers and feared by his opponents. #americancivilwar #history #america DISCLAIMER: All videos uploaded are the copyright material of their original owners and are to be copyright claimed automatically or at the discretion of the owner.
