I Have to Sell My House

We plan, God laughs, and lessons abound. This episode stands alone as a story anyone who's dreamed big and met resistance will find relatable. Bozeman House Episode 3 - check out episodes 1 & 2 for the more background, but in short, after the pandemic, and closing and selling LUXYOGA, my retreat center in the South of France in 2021, I found a small ranch outside Bozeman, Montana in March 2022 that I hoped would become my permanent home, and the new home for the immersive experiences that are my life’s work. The dream is a quiet place where visitors and locals alike gather in small groups to reflect, connect, and be inspired by nature, practice, and shared meals. In April 2022, I met with County Planning to determine if the dream could become real, and they laid out a path to a Conditional Use Permit. No new building would be necessary. In August 2022, after selling most of my investments, I bought the ranch. In October 2023, my first application was denied.
