Glitch "Rocket HQ" worlds (invalid maps CC-CE) (Pokémon Yellow)
Read description for more information: Newly documented 'glitch worlds' with a glitchy tileset with Rocket HQ's music and Town Map name. (Toss 50-52 of item 34 when there are 256) One can encounter Pokémon or Trainers by walking left and right on the row they are initially sent after enabling walk through walls (possible with glitching, see below), but if the player moves off the row, then it seems as if either encounters are less common or they do not occur at all. The Safari Zone battle system or a glitch battle system (http://glitchcity.info/wiki/index.php...) may be loaded unpredictably and the gym leader music may play for battles. The mechanics of the encounters on maps CC-CE are unclear. There is a tendency for the player to encounter the same Pokémon or Trainer, but when I kept walking, eventually I encountered new Pokémon and Trainers. These are some Pokémon and Trainers I have encountered: ZZAZZ Trainer Red (trigerred after fighting ZZAZZ trainer) Pidgey level 7 Beauty Professor Oak Chief Spearow level 224 Yellow Missingno. (non-fossil/ghost) Compared with "Glitch Cities", I refer to glitch worlds as maps that load Glitch Cities, but because the game tries to load the complete data for an invalid map ID, a glitch tileset, town map name, map script may be loaded as well. Maps CC, CD, CE are invalid map locations that do not freeze the game. Other non-freezing glitch worlds (distinguished by Glitch Cities) in Pokémon Yellow include: *The cycling glitch maps ( • Cycling based glitch maps (Pokémon Yellow) ) ED, EE, F1, F2, F3 and F4 - cause the player to spin and the Bicycle music to play, but they likely result in a freeze after the spinning. *Map FE; which requires having non-freezing code from DC0E onward (e.g. by having stored Pokémon 12's experience as 201) as a freeze prevention technique • Effects of visiting glitch map 0xFE with a... . It causes various side effects, and the player is warped to a house in Fuchsia City shortly after the map loads. Access: I visit map CE with an expanded items pack by adjusting item 36's quantity to 206 (CE). This can be done from Pallet Town where item 36's quantity is set to 256 (0), or by swapping item 32 (which almost always has a quantity of 00, except in Rock Tunnel) into item 34; then through tossing 50-52 of the item. To get an expanded items pack, one can perform a glitch such as the save abuse glitch ( • How to beat Pokemon Yellow in 0:00 ) - also allows for 255 Pokémon for walk through walls later, or dry underflow glitch ( • "Dry" item counter underflow glitch, and a... ) Exploring with walk through walls: If walk through walls is enabled with a cheat or by swapping Pokémon 62 with Pokémon 61, one can explore the world and even encounter Pokémon/Trainers by walking left and right on the row that the player is originally sent to. If the player used dry underflow glitch, then they can enable over 62 Pokémon if they do the following steps: 1) Get a Pokémon with Super Glitch as the first move. ゥ ( Z4 is one glitch Pokémon that can learn it, which is available with the Ditto trick ( • The Ditto Trick (Catch Any Pokémon without... ) with a Special stat of 229. 2) Go in front of a PC, open the PC to update screen data for Super Glitch for Super Glitch's corruption effects, and choose to deposit. Continuously view Z4's stats through deposit/stats/cancel. Every time, the player has a chance to end up with 0 Pokémon. 3) When this occurs, choose deposit to underflow the number of Pokémon to 255. The start menu's Pokémon menu will most likely be broken now. 4) To fix the start Pokémon menu to perform the 62 with 61 walk through walls switch, withdraw a Pokémon with an ID greater than 61 (http://glitchcity.info/biglist.htm) matching the number of Pokémon you want. I used Q ◣ which allowed me to access 255 Pokémon with a working Pokémon menu, but another good option may be Farfetch'd (dec: 64). 5) Either swap Pokémon 1 with Pokémon 2 to prevent Glitch Cities, or use the 9F (hex:5E) glitch item to fix any Glitch Cities that the player may receive after walking around.
