Using Watercolors & FineTec at the same time - Ethereal Watercolor

I N F O • ----- • A while back, Sakura sent me their large 48-color Koi watercolor set. I've been a fan of the 24-color set that I bought years ago so I was eager to try additional colors! Today I played with the new watercolor set a bit, plus added in some FineTec pearlescent watercolors for good measure. I love how the different colors turned out! I painted on Arches cold press watercolor paper and used Royal Langnickel Zen watercolor brushes. After the background was painted I couldn't bear to cover it up or cut it apart. Instead, I kept it simple by adhering some white words cuts using Simon's Hey Love die. Super simple and easy. :) Have you tried watercolors with FineTec paints yet?
