Snapshots of my Raspberry PI underwater video ROV
A video of some details of my ROV. I don't have the proper video editing software on my new laptop, so sorry no sound. The video shows some footage of the third test with divers and the making of. As I don't have a depth sensor, I mounted a bottom timer in front of the window. Looking up with the camera gives me depth and temperature. A very unprofessional solution to be solved in the future. By the way, the 3D printer make is Inno3D and was borrowed free of cost from my friendly neighbour. As you can see this is not the first prototype hull or propellor. I started of at Christmass with the Raspberry and finished the first stage of the project in June. Lots of time spent in the mean while! This version shows a router, so between the laptop and the tether things are wireless now. I can choose to make the tether goto a buoy and have the wifi router float. But then I cannot pull the ROV back in case of failure..
