Given Tatsumaki's self-important attitude, it was inevitable she would face Saitama, and it finally happened. The battle between Tatsumaki and Saitama is 100% official, and it happened in the One Punch Man webcomic. Basically, the webcomic is where One Punch Man began; it's the original story that inspired the manga and anime. While Saitama was fighting some Class A heroes, Fubuki, Tatsumaki's sister, arrives and calls Saitama to go somewhere with her. Then she goes to the Hero Association and goes down to the floor where the monsters are imprisoned. With that, she leaves her group guarding the elevator, telling Saitama that she'll be arriving soon. As soon as they descend, they arrive at Psykos's room, the main villain behind the Monster Association, who had managed to survive Tatsumaki's attack. That's why Tatsumaki was going there, to kill Psykos once and for all, but if Psykos died they wouldn't be able to interrogate her and get information, so Fubuki went there to free Psykos, and took Saitama along to be her bodyguard. Then, at the moment she was breaking the cell to free Psykos, Tatsumaki arrives at the Hero Association and comes face to face with Fubuki's group protecting the elevator. But she doesn't think twice, she immediately starts defeating anyone in her path, causing an earthquake throughout the Hero Association. Then she runs through all the floors until she finds Psykos. The moment she sees Psykos, she immediately throws a bunch of rocks to kill her, but at that moment Saitama catches Psykos before the rocks hit her. As soon as Fubuki sees that Saitama has captured Psykos, she tells him to run away and tries to restrain Tatsumaki with a psychic restraint, but it doesn't work. Tatsumaki then realizes Fubuki was trying to protect Psykos and starts humiliating her, calling her weak and saying she can't do anything to protect her. Fubuki gets angry and says she's tired of being afraid of her sister. Saying this, she unleashes her full power, causing an earthquake in the entire Hero Association. She destroys the entire floor she was on and throws all the rocks at Tatsumaki, forming a giant ball of stones, but this does nothing to Tatsumaki; she simply throws all the stones away. But Fubuki continues throwing stones uncontrollably at Tatsumaki. Meanwhile, Saitama is there protecting Psykos and the security guard from the stones flying everywhere. With the destruction on the floor and the earthquake affecting the entire Hero Association, the monster cells began to open. The first cells to open were those on the 13th floor, the floor where Fubuki was fighting Tatsumaki.
