This time, I walked around the shopping street in Furubira Town in Hokkaido, Japan. There are two shopping streets in Furubira Town. Shinchicho is on the north side of Furubira Port, and Hamacho is on the south side. A shopping district is formed in each. From Sapporo / Otaru, take Route 229 and you will find the Hamacho shopping district. I shot the shopping street along Route 229 before, so this time I shot the street that entered the mountainside from there. I didn't realize that there was such a shop because I only go on Route 229 when heading to the Shakotan area. Unfortunately, there were few shops that were open. If you go further on Route 229, you will see the shopping street in Shinchicho (09:05). There are two famous sushi restaurants here. These sushi restaurants are crowded with tourists who come to eat sea urchins in the summer. There are many vacant stores in this shopping street as well, so it would be great if more cafes were renovated from old stores during the summer leisure season alone.
