Eight months ago, we all watched the explosive expose known as the “Komarnytskyi tapes.” Back then, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau released recordings where Komarnytskyi and his informal group discussed how to carve up land in Kyiv. We transcribed those tapes and produced three full episodes about the figures involved. Time has passed — and what do we see now? Despite the ongoing "Clean City" case, seized assets, and formal suspicions, Komarnytskyi’s people are still in Kyiv City Hall and the Kyiv City Council. They continue to influence the life of the capital — and, very likely, continue their business as usual. Those who called themselves an “organized criminal group” on the tapes are now voting for anti-corruption initiatives.
