Straight holes using a simple Drill Guide| hand held drill guide (subtitled)

A simple drill guide makes easy to drill straight holes. Bolt spacers are used to guide the drill bits. Or you can use the pilot hole method. 2mm hole guides the larger bits to drill straight. Auger bits can get better results with this method because of the screw at the tip. Two types of drill guides that can be easily made. No need for power tools nor drill press. The "Multi-Drill Guide" has 6 and 8 mm diameters that are often used for bolts and dowels, and 2 mm diameters for pilot holes that can be used to drill straight holes with other diameters. The other one is a drill guide for shelf pins. When you want to attach a movable shelf to a shelf or cabinet this guide is pretty handy. The holes should be drilled as straight as possible at certain intervals. This work is time-consuming even with a drill press. I think it is more efficient to use a jig or guide with a hand drill. Since it is a 5-series guide, there is less marking work and you can make holes continuously with high accuracy. As a side note, I found a way to drill straight holes using a router.
