NOTE: There are models that may have buzzing noises when the tone is turned to treble. When it arrives test it for buzzing. If you hear it, do an exchange... give them a second chance. In my original video I had noticed that the wood in the body did not look like mahogany, but more like basswood. When I sent the video to the company they took notice of the section I had in question. After talking to their engineering department, the company rep agreed that it was a misprint and their website will be corrected to reflect a body made of poplar wood. Why a 70%? 1. Website states “mainly poplar body and Purple Heart neck wood.” That statement is vague. (Since my review the wood has been clarified) 2. At nut base glue seeped out then painted over. 3. Minor flaw in neck 4. Fret crowning could have been better. 5. Website states: "PREMIUM MAHOGANY". For the price of the guitar I am positive the wood is Toona, which is much cheaper than mahogany but is also a compatible replacement of S. Asia wood. 6. Knobs (VVT) were impossible to pull off by hand. They are pressure seated with no securing screw. 7. Buzzing ground noise.
