Shimano XTR vs XT vs Deore Rotors – I’d Buy This One Again

Shimano makes MTB brake rotor selection surprisingly confusing. I’ve been running different Shimano rotors on my MTBs for the last couple of years – swapping them front to back, testing them on long descents, bending some, overheating some, and listening to some very annoying noises. In this video I compare three Shimano rotor options: Shimano SM-RT66 / basic Deore-style rotor Shimano SM-RT76 / XT Ice-Tech rotor Shimano SM-RT905 / XTR / Saint / Dura-Ace Ice-Tech Freeza rotor I talk about weight, braking feel, heat management, durability, noise, price and what I would actually buy again for enduro mountain biking. Spoiler: the most expensive one is not necessarily the one I would recommend. NOT SPONSORED by Shimano unfortunately .... just my experience and opinions.
