Today, we're going to talk about what happens after a spiritual awakening. Modern studies are increasingly paying attention to spiritual awakening, and we'll talk about it based on several studies and experiences. First, based on research and experience in the United States, spiritual awakening is defined as a feeling of expansion of consciousness leaving the body, energy coursing up the spine, and a sense of being enveloped in light. The experience of spiritual awakening is characterized by the limits of subjective experience, insights into deep truths, transience, and a passive experience of others. Next, we look at research findings from the United States, as well as Oxford University in the United Kingdom. Spiritual awakenings are described as short-term, lasting anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, but it's what happens afterward that matters. According to Marshall P's research, spiritual awakenings and kundalini awakenings are shorter in duration but have a longer aftermath. A variety of mental, physical, and social changes are described, including an increased need for self-reflection, personality changes, changes in relationships, the surfacing of the unconscious, and a reawakening of emotions. The idea that the brain and consciousness are permanently altered by changes in awareness, along with changes in the mundane aspects of life, is also introduced. Finally, we draw on several experiences to emphasize the reality that even after awakening, we still have to face the realities of life. The message is that spiritual awakening doesn't give us the answers to life, but that we have to live our own lives and utilize the experience of awakening.
