How Don Bosco Formed Saints: Michael Magone | Ep. 97

There once was a priest who started as a student and became a cleric living in the Oratory for many years. In 1889, he wrote down these recollections of his life with Don Bosco: Who was Don Bosco? Don Bosco was a priest who, by example and word, taught how each of us must faithfully serve the Lord. The Gospel tells us, “Whoever carries out and teaches the least of the commandments shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19). For this reason, one can and must rightly consider Don Bosco was a distinguished man among the most significant characters, not only of the nineteenth century, but of the entire Christian era. Possessing nothing, he founded such a marvelous institution that fills us with awe. This institution will hold the admiration of the world for centuries to come. God instructed Don Bosco in this great work and will preserve it and fulfill His mysterious purposes.
