Remembering Gracie - My sweet chihuahua gained her angel wings

Gracie passed away this past weekend. Her cancer had returned this year and despite our efforts, it wasn’t going anywhere. She tried so hard but this past week I could see she really wasn’t feeling well. So I made the heartbreaking decision to set her free. I held her the entire time. She was my first rescue dog and I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished together and more importantly- I’m simply going to miss her sweet presence every day.
