For this episode, my team and I visited the village of Kolobovo in the Ivanovo region, where a farmer raises beef and does good deeds. He came to Russia from Ukraine, and his first job was as a janitor. Over the course of 15 years, he built a successful career at the PIK construction company, and in 2019, he decided to return to his roots, drawn to the village. During Soviet times, this area had been arable land, but it was later abandoned. The subject of this episode, along with his brother, rebuilt the farm virtually from scratch. Today, they have 700 cows, with plans to increase their herd to 1,000. The farm has 2,000 hectares of land, 850 of which are arable. Horses retired from equestrian sports are admitted here, like to a boarding house. The farmer believes it's important to help others, so he supports two local children's soccer teams. The farmers built a rehearsal hall for local theater groups while the Community Center building was being renovated, and they are actively developing various social projects, including for those working on the farm.
