Classic EMD's to Deniliquin! SRHC Deniliquin Line 150th Anniversary Tour with S307, T375, T378 & A66

On the 5th July 2026 the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre visited Deniliquin in New South Wales to commemorate 150 years of the line opening to Deniliquin. The Deniliquin and Moama Railway Company opened the line from Echuca to Deniliquin on the 4th July 1876, and has remained in use ever since, mostly by freight trains after passenger services beyond Echuca were withdrawn in 1979. The train was hauled by four ex-Victorian Railways EMD locomotives; S307, T375, T378, and A66 on hire from V/Line. The tour was T375's first run on the mainline in 34 years! After being withdrawn by V/Line in 1992 the locomotive was bought privately and had lived on a farm in Torrumbarry, until it was reactivated and craned into Echuca for use on this tour! T375 will be made available to help run tours with the SRHC.
