Pase la NOCHE en un PARADOR de la CIUDAD - Barracas

DIPA SHELTER - BARRACAS In this new nighttime episode of the channel, I go to the City Government's Assistance Network offices to request a spot to sleep in one of the famous shelters in Buenos Aires. The idea of the video is to understand why so many homeless people refuse to go to a shelter and sleep indoors in winter. At the DIPA shelter I went to, on the border of Barracas and Constitución, there was no space available for me or many other people. The solution they offered was to spend the night on a long-distance bus with semi-reclining seats and heating. The bus drove around several times and stopped intermittently at different points in the city. They also gave each of us a packed meal. The next day, since we had already visited Constitución very recently, I went for a walk around Barracas. I walked through several places in the neighborhood, including the Santa Felicitas church, the old English-style housing complex Colonia Solá, and Villa 21-24 (the largest slum in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires).
