Welcome back to the Advent Countdown! Today’s featured design is the Champagne Pullover—a cozy, elegant, cable-and-lace sweater that has become one of my all-time favorites to knit and to wear. And… it also happens to be my birthday today, so sharing a special pattern feels extra fun. 🥂🎉 The Champagne Pullover features: • a relaxed boxy fit with dropped shoulders • seamless top-down construction • a beautiful cable & lace pattern across the front, back, and sleeves • a back-neck cast-on that expands into the full back width • fully charted increases over the cable pattern • shoulder pick-ups that flow into the front • a joined body worked in the round • sleeves picked up and shaped with gentle short rows • a double-folded neckband • tubular bind offs on hem and cuffs for that clean, rolled-over finish For the stitch patterns to shine, I recommend using unicolor or slightly tonal yarns.
