This is Half Moon Cay - Holland America Line’s very own private island in the Bahamas. Half Moon Cay was formally known as Little San Salvador island, situated west of Cat Island - and approximately 277 miles southeast of Miami. Half Moon Cay is only visited by Carnival Corp & PLC vessels - but most-frequently visited by Holland America cruise ships as you would expect. Half Moon Cay is a paradise - you can swim with stingrays, go snorkelling, take a hike, do some shopping, ride horses through the sea or just take it easy laying on the beach, and looking at the incredible views that this island provides.
