Thames Path 9: Democracy, Downpours & Broken Bridges - Runnymede to Eton

Would you cross that bridge? I do a @GeoWizard and cross a broken bridge - twice! The hawthorne bushes will come later....And 15th of June is the 809th year since the Magna Carta was signed - just in time for this video featuring Runnymede! Starting from the Lord Lucan world of Laleham Abbey, the Bucket of Democracy at Runnymede including visiting the JFK memorial and others there, the first of the total downpours, Buddhas and Porsches, more Bridge Chat, the widest and flattest brick arch in the world , do the pre-Staines wash with garden criticism, and visit Kingyland of Windsor and talk diversions and the horrors of Datchet - which ironically becomes my 100 mile mark but I didn't know it back then,. I end up washed up and drenched at Eton Dorney Lake....will we continue with weather like this? #stealthcampingalliance #thamespath #londonwalking #riverwalk #riverthames
