【神技!ギリギリ通せるか!?】18トン漁船を造船所に入れる【#4】

This video captures the entire process of how, with the help of two cranes and the miraculous skills of craftsmen, a massive 18-ton fishing boat that was upside down is turned right-side up and placed back into the shipyard! The entrance to the factory is a narrow passageway, with only a few dozen centimeters of clearance between it and the hull. It's a tense moment as hardhatted craftsmen call out to each other, tension ropes, and support the boat from both sides as it moves forward, step by step. And at the end, we get a close-up of the exact moment the stern is placed in place! Will this massive hull be able to be returned to the shipyard safely...? Turning complete! Next up is the installation of the engine! [Filming Support] Kashiwazaki Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., 83rd Shoho Maru We stepped inside the shipyard—construction has just begun after the keel-laying ceremony, with seven months of work still ahead. From aluminum plates and hand-drawn templates, the build of an 18-ton set-net fishing vessel is underway. Welding sparks, precise cutting—all crafted entirely by hand. The full view of the bare framework can only be seen at this stage. We’ll be following this single vessel throughout the entire seven-month build. Don’t miss the navigation and insights from the ship’s designer himself. =========================== 🪧Life is so cool. This channel depicts the real lives of people who live and work in Hokkaido.
