SenSura® Mio 2-piece Click flat pouching systems: How-to-use video for clinicians
This module is designed for clinicians and provides a brief overview of product application and use. Topics covered include: • How to empty the pouch and reseal the outlet • Measuring the stoma and cutting the barrier for a perfect fit (no visible skin!) • Applying the barrier to clean, dry skin • Securing the pouch to the barrier Key things to remember! 1. To connect the pouch to the barrier, apply gentle pressure to the barrier – you may hear a ‘click’. Close the lock ring by pressing the lock together. The pouch is securely attached together when you hear a ‘click’ 2. Gently tug on the pouch to ensure the barrier is attached 3. To remove the pouch: • Press the small turquoise tab to open the lock ring • Then hold onto the pouch’s removal ear and remove the pouch by carefully pulling the pouch away from the barrier These are abbreviated instructions.
