Load & Tie-Down a UTV and measure affect on Tongue Weight

I optimally position my UTV on a 12 ft dual axle utility trailer for transport. Too far forward means extra tongue weight that I don't want, and too far back means enhanced probability of trailer sway. Does the machine's position substantially affect the tongue weight? I think it does. We travel over 500 miles with the UTV on the trailer and evaluate the effectiveness of our tie down method.
