Modified Luna Swirl | 🧜‍♀️ Mermaid Grotto Cold Process Soap | Vegan | Split Method Milk Soap

Here we are using a modified version of the Luna Swirl presented by Christina at Luna and the Leaf! If you haven’t seen her Luna Swirl, you MUST check it out, it’s absolutely stunning! But if you are interested in maybe a little bit easier method that produces a beautiful bar of soap that looks much like hers, look no further! This modified Luna Swirl takes the ombré from her design and combines it with a pour down the middle. There isn’t as much ombré in this method, (although you could add as much was you want), but it is a little bit easier to get into the mold. The key is to have a stark contrast between colors, so using light and dark colors will product the best results! On Christina’s design, you tilt the mold and pour down the edge of the mold, but on this one you just pour down the center over and over and then use your hanger tool at the end. If you struggle with doing wall pours, this is an easier method (in my opinion)! Mermaid Grotto is scented in a combination of Cactus Flower from Brambleberry and Pink Grapefruit from Wholesale Supplies Plus. Two of my favorite fragrances blended into one!
