Switch Linux Emulation | Steam Wii Gamecube Minecraft PSP

Tested a Nintendo Switch V1 running L4T Linux with different Emulators and Steam Games (June 2026). == Verdict: weak CPU leads to bottleneck (V2 OLED & Lite CPU ist about 7% faster, but still too slow) setting up Steam is a pain (see guide below) and getting them x86 games to work is also tough. When they work, its an unenjoyable experience heavy framedrops down to 15 fps unstable frametimes very long (like minutes) loading times lot of tinkering testing Proton 9/10/11, OpenGL vs Vulkan or D3D9 32Bit Linux Native Games all seem broken == Order of play: 00:00 Specs 00:09 ==GameCube 00:12 F-Zero GX (meh) 00:45 Eternal Dark (perfect) 01:05 1080° Avalanche (perfect) 01:42 SW Rogue Squadron 3 (bad) 02:04 SM Sunshine (perfect) 02:30 COD Finest Hour (bad) 03:05 ==Wii 03:08 MK Wii 1P (perfect) 03:37 MK Wii 2P (meh) 04:02 COD World at War (bad) 04:50 SM Galaxy (meh) 05:14 ==PSP 05:18 SW Battlefront 2 (perfect) 05:38 ==Minecraft Java (meh) 06:18 ==Steam 06:20 Bioshock (meh-P10) 08:56 Dirt 3 (bad-P11) 10:52 Doom (perfect-P9) 12:21 Metro LLR (meh) 13:46 others (broken) 14:08 ==CPU stats 14:11 COD Finest Hour 14:55 SM Galaxy 15:32 MK Wii 2P 16:43 MK Wii 4P 18:11 ==Verdict == Specs Switch V1 1862Mhz Ram OC L4T "Max Performance OC" on CPU & GPU Fan profile: "cool" Steam offline & "closed" to save RAM == Performance Equivalent: ARM: Snapdragon 888 X86: Underclocked Intel Core2Quad Q6600 between Intel UHD630 and Nvidia GT640 / GT830M 4GB RAM & SD Card Storage == Infos Dolphinbar with WiiMotes works perfectly. Online Games with - AntiCheat (Kernel or VAC, ...) most likely wont work due to ARM translation issues. == LEGAL Shown games and used files are dumped from systems and games I own and payed for.
