In the midst of the World Cup in the United States, both Brazilian and Italian teams took to the field with several key players missing. Fabio Capello's Milan was without several players called up for the Italian National Team, while Vasco was without Ricardo Rocha, who was playing for the Brazilian National Team. Even so, the match brought together big names in football at the time and provided a very lively game. Milan opened up a 3-0 lead, but Vasco reacted, reduced the deficit to 3-2, and pressed until the final minutes in search of an equalizer. In addition to the match itself, this video also recovers a curious ESPN Brasil broadcast from the 90s, marked by sound effects, commentary, and a style quite different from what we see today.
