Virtual Scenic Flight 070: Tokyo Tour - Shuto Expressway Route C1 – One Full Lap, Tokyo This time, we revisit the Route C1 Shutoko (Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Inner Circular Route), first attempted in Flight 27 — now from a helicopter. Previously, the ICON A5 struggled to navigate tight sections like the Edobashi Junction, but the helicopter handles them with ease. We’ve also upgraded from 30 fps to 60 fps, resulting in a noticeable improvement in visual smoothness. The Route C1, with a total length of 14.8 km, runs through the very heart of Tokyo. It’s arguably one of the best routes to experience the city’s most iconic urban scenery. As before, we follow the inner loop (counterclockwise), where highlights like the Tanimachi Junction really stand out—this time starting and ending at the Shiba Park ramp.
