South Carolina Legends- Episode 1: The Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp In this episode, Mrs. Drew meets with Ranger Dan at Lee State Park to learn more about a Pee Dee legend- the infamous Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp. This mysterious creature is said to have attacked some motorists back in the 1980's and caused the surrounding area to erupt in a monster- mania, with many taking to the woods to hunt for the Lizard Man. Ranger Dan also gives Mrs Drew a tour of the park, showing her the boardwalk and the Fairy Trail. Because of the frightening nature of this program we recommend viewers be 13 years of age or older!
