Childminders' salaries are paid monthly, meaning they're based on an average number of hours worked per month. Depending on when the contract ends, the childminder will have worked more or fewer hours than initially agreed upon. This highlights the importance of understanding how to properly calculate salary adjustments! :) The examples I give in this video are intentionally "complicated" because I wanted to offer something different from the simplistic explanations you can find online with a couple of clicks, and because in reality, it's rare for a contract to start on the 1st of the month and end on the 30th... ;) Enjoy the video!
