From the 'Dakhla' Peninsula, we started our journey in the direction of 'Oued Eddahab-Laguira'. We travelled through its sands, which extended to as far as the sight can reach, to read on its pages what the hand of time had made with it. On the sands of this land, we walked up and down to reach a place where the martyrs of the Battle of “Leglat”, which took place in 1957, lay. After that, we set off to the southwest of the city of 'Aousserd', to visit other cemeteries that are thousands of years older. They are the cemetery of ''Oueld Attia' and the cemetery of 'Bou Laryah'. Circular graves with a diameter of about ten meters, over which vertical slabs of sandy clay were placed. These slabs bear Amazigh inscriptions and vague drawings. After standing on these funerary monuments, we headed to an archaeological site that includes carved rocks confirming that life thrived on this land and developed on its surface. It is a clear picture of what this land was like thousands of years ago and the embodiment of huge animals that can only live in an environment of abundant water and vegetation. However, the vicissitudes of time and climate changes perched on these regions, suffocating them, turning their settlements into ruins, and their fertility to aridness.
