ज़ी न्यूज़ की टीम से बातचीत करते हुए लोहगढ़ किला के टिकट काउंटर पर मौजूद सुरक्षा कर्मी ने बताया की सिया और केतन टिकट खरीदने के लिए ऑनलाइन पेमेंट कर रहे थे लेकिन इंटरनेट नहीं होने के चलते पेमेंट नहीं हो सकता तो उन्होंने वापसी में पेमेंट करने की बात करते हुए ऊपर चले गए जबकि चेतन चौधरी ने वर्कआउट करने का बहाना करते हुए बगैर टिकट के ऊपर गया और वापसी में पैसे देने की बात कही थी लेकिन हत्या को अंजाम देने के बाद वो जल्दबाजी में निकल गया और पैसे नहीं दिए . Speaking to the Zee News team, a security guard at the Lohagarh Fort ticket counter stated that Siya and Ketan were attempting to make an online payment for tickets but could not complete the transaction due to a lack of internet connectivity; they proceeded to the upper area, intending to pay upon their return. Meanwhile, Chetan Chaudhary went up without a ticket—claiming he was going there to work out—and also promised to pay on his way back, but he left in a hurry after committing the murder without making the payment.
