MD-80 & MD-90 - the middle class
The McDonnell Douglas MD-80 and MD-90 are medium-haul passenger airliners - part of the DC-9 family. In fact, they are the second and third generations of this family, which have become some of the main planes of regional transportation in many countries. Nevertheless, the loss of leadership by McDonnell Douglas in a number of strategy and engineering solutions, by the 1990s, led to lagging behind competitors, which had consequences for both the family and the company. A total of 1307 units were produced: 1,191 MD-80 model liners and 116 MD-90 model airliners. Thank you for watching! Subscribe to the channel, comment, like!
