Start by reading up on ancient Celtic mythology and history, explore stories related to Brigid, and get familiar with how she has been honored over the centuries. This will give you a deeper understanding of Brigid’s nature and how she can be called upon in your rituals. Brigid is a passionate and fiery goddess, so make sure you honor her with offerings that represent those qualities. Offerings such as incense, candles, honey, mead, oatmeal or breads made of grain work well for most occasions. You may also offer Brigid good fresh dairy produce, wild flowers, or fruits and vegetables from your garden as signs of appreciation and reverence. Cynth A. B.
