4L80E wont shift & the $5 FIX!!! Don't Replace your Transmission just yet

In this video, I share my nightmare 4l80e experience of building a custom transmission only to have it not shift properly. Despite countless hours and money spent on upgrades like an input shaft and high-disc clutches, the transmission still wasn't shifting right. I tried everything: replacing solenoids, the wiring harness, checking and replacing fluids and filters, and even a different stall converter. I even paid $380 for a remote tune to address the issue, and while the tune improved the car's overall performance, the tuner suggested I might need a new transmission. So, I bought a brand new B&M transmission, hoping it would solve the problem. To my dismay, the new transmission had the exact same shifting issues as the old one. After much troubleshooting, I discovered the root cause: a blown inline fuse on the Holley Terminator X's 12-volt accessory power source. This fuse blew because I had inadvertently crimped and shorted the transmission solenoid wires when reinstalling the pan. The real kicker? All I needed to do was replace that "stupid fuse". This experience taught me a valuable lesson, and now my 700+ horsepower car is finally shifting correctly and is a blast to drive. Now that this project is almost complete, I'm looking for ideas for my next build! I'm hoping to tackle a $5,000 car that with an additional $5,000-$10,000 investment, can become a truly great and fun car for under $10,000-$15,000.
