A Small Town Devizes. Film made by camerman David Prosser in 1956, from a series of 'similar "Small Town..." shorts'. Features the lives of people in Devizes, Wiltshire, UK during Carnival Week August 1956. At the time, Devizes was a major Army town and HQ of the Wiltshire Regiment. This is a VHS copy of copy but a 35mm version is thought to still exist. Unclear whether the original was silent or had commentary.
