On a UAZ Patriot, you'll need to replace the front wheel bearings after approximately 50,000 kilometers. This is especially true if you neglect regular adjustments, have weak bearings, or forget to seal the wheel flange bolts with sealant. All this leads to rapid wear, corrosion, and, of course, noise while driving. All UAZ Patriot wheel bearings are identical, which makes purchasing them somewhat easier. They're available at any store, but the quality can be subpar. For installation, you'll need a good, large, snap ring puller and a set of drifts to remove the outer bearing race.
