The map used in the video covers an area where my wife and I live and I am going to show you how if I didn’t know where that was I would dowse the map to find out. 1) Firstly In the physical world: how we hold the pendulum. I use a pendulum In a way that gives me the quickest response I am impatient so I can't afford the time to sit here and wait while a pendulum builds momentum to indicate and answer. I want the answer straight away so I set the pendulum swinging to start with. That gives it momentum kinetic energy. It swings in a straight line. Don’t forget dossing is NOT magic. It is a subconscious response from your body being represented in the motion of the device you are using. I’m not going to show you how to dowse per se now there are other videos on that see the link in the top right of screen. So physically, it's up to you to either hold the pendulum still and wait for it to respond (which might never happen) or you can do what I do: swing it. 2) Secondly, FOCUS your mind. This is really important. Don’t focus on the pendulum forget about the pendulum focus on what you are looking for. Really bring to mind what it is what it feels like perhaps and anything else you might want to know about it to make it as real as possible for you. This is particularly important for beginners. 3) SETTLE your mind allow yourself to be grounded and still, meditative mind-state. Combination of brainwaves, 4) If it something that can move around say you are looking for a lost pet you ask to be shown where the pet is NOW so you are using the space and TIME dimensions. I’m going to show you two methods of doing this: Firstly one is that you are holding the pendulum in one hand and so the other hand can become your pointer. So YOUR FOCUS is on what you are looking for but you are going to run your finger along one axis of the map until the pendulum indicates a “yes” which is the point at which you stop moving your finger, so let’s do the top axis first. And then once you have got the stop signal which as I say is yes prompt from the pendulum you then move from where your finger has stopped to then travel along the other axis DOWSING on a map like this as with all dowsing is about detaching your conscious mind from what you are looking for and allowing your subconscious mind to do the work for you. The other way of dowsing over a map is to use the pendulum itself. You can ask it to show you the direction of what you are looking for and follow the direction it indicates until it tells you to “stop”. You might also find is that as you move it across the page or map the pendulum wants to “stick” to a certain point. That’s the point you are interested in and It really is a rather weird feeling. We can use dowsing to remotely gather information of any sort from a map. When people first hear about dowsing it's usually because they have heard of either people looking for water or for something like gold. There are loads of different specialisations within dowsing, it’s a bit like a novelist that will usually specialise in a particular type of novel writing like a thriller or a romance professional dowsers tend to specialise in a particular field and yes that may be finding water, or finding minerals for companies.
