Tipperary Town Memories

Meet Thurles-based artist, Jennifer Ryan Kelly, and find out about her new animated artwork inspired by local oral history stories, as part of Tipperary Town Memories, a project featuring local voices remembering the past. Jennifer’s artwork is part of Tipperary Town Memories, a project featuring voices recalling what Tipperary Town was like from the 1940s to the 1990s. It takes us on a journey through time, stimulating the senses and imagination with sound and moving images, bringing to life memories from the past. Tipperary Town Memories was a partnership project between Tipperary Town Task Force Heritage Group, Knockanrawley Resource Centre, Tipp-Midwest Radio and Creative Places Tipperary Town. It was supported by the Arts Council and Creative Ireland.
