Non-duality provides the only valid proof structure for divine recognition because traditional arguments collapse under their own assumptions. Every classical proof—ontological, cosmological, teleological—operates from the fatal flaw of duality: a subject attempting to verify a separate divine object through inference and belief. Kashmir Shaivism demonstrates why consciousness recognizing itself differs fundamentally from belief-based persuasion. Through Pratyabhijna (recognition), Svatantrya (absolute freedom), and Prakasha (self-illuminating awareness), the teaching points to what survives direct examination: boundaryless, locationless, dimensionless consciousness that cannot be divided. The boundary problem exposes the logical impossibility of actual separation, while verification through immediate noticing bypasses the gap-crossing that leaves dualistic frameworks vulnerable to doubt. When awareness recognizes itself as impersonal, non-local, and eternal, the question transforms from "how do I prove God exists" to "what separates this awareness from divine consciousness?" Direct examination through the five acts of consciousness (creation, maintenance, dissolution, concealment, revelation) shows all movement as consciousness appearing to itself. Recognition-proof differs from evidential proof because the recognizer and recognized are never two things—like a hand knowing its connection to the body without requiring external verification. What traditions call God and what you fundamentally are share identical characteristics, verified through direct checking rather than conceptual acceptance.
