Among colors, smells, and flavors, we found typical fruits like siriguela and umbu, traditional foods, spices, stories, and the people who keep the essence of Bahia alive. Afterwards, we went to the ferry that connects Salvador to Itaparica Island, a simple but meaningful journey. More than just a crossing, the ferry is part of the daily life of the Bahian people and shows another perspective of the city, from the sea.
