Israel will allow a multinational security force to enter Gaza, as proposed in US President Donald Trump's ceasefire plan for the territory, an Israeli official said Sunday (26). Netanyahu's security cabinet approved the legal framework on Sunday that will allow the force to enter Gaza, the official said. Netanyahu is due to leave for Washington on Monday and has a meeting scheduled with Trump on Tuesday. The official said the mission, called the International Stabilization Force, will include 200 members from "friendly countries such as Uganda and Morocco," who will be deployed in areas not under Israeli control. Each contingent needs individual approval from Israel to enter Gaza. It was unclear when the forces will be deployed. Roberto Motta commented.
