Day 4 of 100 Days of Giving: Bugs, Pastries, and Unexpected Kindness! Today's giving adventure took an unexpected turn—straight into Legoland! But as we arrived, a question lingered: How do we give back when there are no homeless people or stray dogs in sight? As we walked toward the entrance, the kids got sidetracked by the perfect, soft grass… and soon, they were on a mission—collecting rolly pollies and worms (because, priorities). When I asked how we’d give back today, they confidently declared, “Easy! We’ll give bugs to other kids!” Sure enough, just outside the park, we met a family trying to take a photo. We offered to help—and in classic kid fashion, the kids also gifted their daughter a worm. Instead of screaming, she lit up with joy—turns out, she loves bugs! Then, in a moment of pure kindness, they surprised us by gifting us three delicious pastries from Taiwan. Who knew a tiny worm could lead to such a sweet exchange? Inside the park, we noticed two hardworking women tirelessly cleaning the restrooms. We stopped, thanked them for their hard work, and gave them $20 each—a small token of appreciation for a job that often goes unnoticed.
