DJ Rob Swift explains the "Crab" scratch
"There's a "twittle" scratch and a "crab" scratch. So with the "twittle", you're punching the fader with your middle and index finger and the fader is just popping in and out. But with the "crab" you're skating across the fader. Some people do it with 3 fingers, others do it with 4. I try to use all 4 fingers, and you're skating across the fader and your thumb acts as a spring to close the fader back. Don't just practice scratching with an "Ahhh" sound or a "Freshhh" sound or any long sound." ~ Brolic Arm #CrabScratch #WeTalkinBoutPractice #BrolicArmy
