In the Name of Allah, all praise belongs to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and all those who follow his path. By the grace and assistance of Allah, we present to you a new video dedicated to the study of the noble Prophetic Sīrah. For this journey, we have chosen the book “The Jurisprudence of the Sīrah” by Shaykh Dr. Zayd ibn Abd al-Karim al-Zayd رحمه الله, a beneficial work that combines the narration of the Sīrah with its deep and insightful understanding. In truth, I own several books on the Prophetic Sīrah, but I specifically chose this one because it is not limited to merely recounting historical events. Rather, it focuses on understanding the Sīrah correctly: understanding the Prophetic message and following the example of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in belief, worship, character, and human relations. We do not study the Sīrah merely to gain historical knowledge, but: 🔹 To increase our love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ 🔹 To live according to his guidance and noble character 🔹 To understand Islam in its original purity, without distortion or alteration We ask Allah to grant us sincerity and acceptance, and to help us complete the study of these two blessed volumes. We also warmly welcome all our brothers and sisters joining these beneficial gatherings and live broadcasts on TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. We invite you to support and share this content so that its benefit may spread. The Shaykh رحمه الله concluded his introduction with this beautiful supplication: “I ask Allah, by His Most Beautiful Names and Sublime Attributes, to accept this work, to renew its benefits over time, and to place immense blessings within it. Indeed, He is the Most Generous, the Supreme Bestower…” We also ask Allah to grant us a share of this goodness, for we have presented this book to the people, read it publicly, and shared some of its lessons and reflections. Perhaps Allah will grant benefit to the author, the reader, the listener, and the one who spreads it.
