Will it start?! In episode 2 of the 1986 VW T25 Transporter barn find restoration, we are tackling the engine. This diesel camper van has been dry-stored and off the road since its last MOT in 2017. After hand-turning the crank in the last video to confirm the engine wasn't seized, it was time to find out if it would actually run. It wasn't easy—we had to hunt down a major electrical fault, replace a terrible earth with a heavy-duty upgraded earth cable, track down a blown 20amp starter fuse, and prime the stubborn diesel fuel pump. Watch to see if this classic VW engine finally roars back to life!
