Cocky calisthenics athlete gets HUMBLED by world cup climber

I challenged one of Sweden’s best climbers to a full strength test at Grepp the home gym of the Swedish climbing team. From grip strength and max pull-ups to explosive power and climbing challenges on the wall, I wanted to find out how athletic an elite climber really is. Gabriel Kern started climbing at just 6 years old and has already built one of the craziest climbing resumes in Sweden. He won every Swedish junior championship he entered, became the first Swedish 17-year-old to climb 8c+ outdoors, and earned multiple medals at the Swedish Championships while becoming a two-time Nordic champion. But despite all the achievements, what stood out most was his mindset. Gabriel approaches hard climbs with complete confidence and optimism. He sees the challenge, focuses on the solution, and commits fully. He thought he was only going to coach me and help me improve my climbing… but I had another challenge waiting for him. Make sure to check out ‪@KernClimbing‬ and show him some love. He recently traveled to Japan to climb in some of the hardest gyms in the world. If you enjoy climbing, bouldering, calisthenics, grip strength, or fitness challenges, this one’s for you. #Climbing #Bouldering #RockClimbing #GripStrength #Calisthenics #ClimbingTraining #StrengthTest #SwedishClimber Contact: [email protected]
