Caylee's Cans: Our one Production Lathe is Down
This was going to be a quick little video where I clean the coolant out of some connections, and everything is fine, but it devolved into me tearing apart my lathe. It was scary at the time, but after opening her up and getting some experience adjusting the machine parameters, I feel like I have a better understanding on how to maintain and repair this thing in the future. The machine is a SmartLathe SL-X. Like I said, I have no skin in the game with this company, but the engineering team there are amazing and the customer support is top notch.
