THIS BOARD IS AWESOME. If you are looking for a wider board with a short wheel base go get this immediately. For years I have been talking about the benefits of a shorter wheel bases on a bigger board for a more comfortable and frankly, enjoyable, skating experience. Width is not what makes your tricks harder to get around, its the wheelbase. Once you have the wheelbase dialed I would say try a wider board with the same wheelbase and see how it feels. This Shawn Hale board is great. Symmetrical kicks on the nose and tail at about 22.2 degrees always feel nice to me. The shape wasnt too round and felt very cool with the razor edge on it. The full setup was very comfortable.
