It was that time again, and we were off to the sea in Italy for a few days. As always, I had my rods with me, and this time we didn't just want to fish from the shore. I had ordered a submersible in advance so we could fish a little further out and maybe get close to the bigger fish. The first two days, we only fished from the shore to see if there were any fish, but we were unsuccessful. Now we were going out to the Mediterranean with the submersible, and lo and behold, it worked. The schools of forktail were moving along a channel further out and thus couldn't be reached from the shore. But the mackerel were hardly visible the next day, and we had to change course again.
